Our Story

At Forty One originally started off as a personalize cookie business, CJ Cookies. With baby number one on the way I (Caitlin) needed a hobby and Swan Hill had nothing like it. I started making and taking small orders for cookies, before we knew it we were taking orders of 50, 100, 150, 250, 500 and started baking on a larger scale in a bakery. By the time baby number two come along I had gone nesting mad and we were looking into shops down the main street to move into after Joseph's family sold up their bakery in dare we say it, Covid times.

We purchased 41 McCallum street and we've never looked back. We've gone from making just cookies to a full cafe set up. Making coffee, fresh juices, cold press and everything breakfast and lunch. We have shelves over flowing with amazing products and make everything sweet ourselves. From choc blocks, cupcakes, yo-yos and cookies, we are busy and we love it!

We now have a team working alongside of us and we couldn’t do it without them. Our customers are family and we are so blessed to be able to open our doors to them every day. They have watched us grow business wise but as a family too. Having our third baby basically at the shop from the minute he was born. Customers come for coffee and they leave with an earful of informartion from our kids and cuddles.

We are growing and evolving every day because our customers support us and push us too be bigger and better!

We will never look back from sitting in the dark outside 41 McCallum street looking at the for sale sign on it asking ourselves "One day, or day one"
